  • Make Art Not War (15in x 20in)

This artwork is inspired by the mantra "Make Art Not War", during the Iraq War. The mantra is an alternative phrase inspired by popular 1960s anti-war mantra, “Make love, not war.” The artwork is an image of a woman wearing a decorated army helmet with pencils tucked into the band instead of bullets along with a small "Make Art Not War" card. The backdrop colors are a symbolic message of surrendering to peace, the colors in the blue sky, the partial white face and the white daisies.

Every limited-edition print will include the handwritten title, print number 1 through 300, and the artist’s signature. The 15"x 20" fine art archival pigment print will be on high quality art paper. All prints will have a 0.5-inch border around the image.

A portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to organizations assisting those impacted by war.
